Things are coming

foxinthestarsFirst, after much waffling back and forth, I did get some birthday-to-myself stuff from Amazon. Several things I had been tempted by I decided I didn't actually need and ended up spending more than that. I got my next volume of Ooku, a cheap used copy of Walking in This World by Julia Cameron (it's a sequel to The Artist's Way, which I love), and the expensive part, The Twelve Kingdoms complete DVD box. I will enjoy having that.
I am also dizzily close to finishing a draft on the Allison & Lillia 'fic, like one and a half scenes to go. The end of the tunnel is so close and bright, it's like I'm pausing to dazzle at it when I should put my head down and sprint to the end, but I should have it in the next few days, anyway. (Time to "mentally read the bad reviews I'll get"!)
Once that's done, I told myself I'd get back to my anime viewing. Still have a few Kara no Kyoukai movies to go, but I also want to start watching Saiunkoku Monogatari, wanting to see it after all the good reviews and also hoping that it'll fire me up to work on the FY 'fic. It was The Twelve Kingdoms that lured me back to it after all those years, so watching something in a similar setting might do the trick again --- and if it doesn't, I'll be able to try re-watching The Twelve Kingdoms. ^___^
ETA: One scene left on the 'fic! 0__0 I'm going to regret going to bed on a scene break, but I'm tired now...
