Tired fox is tired

Today was the first day of the local Art Guild's two-day event, and I got conscripted to run the raffle table; it was pretty slow, but sitting out there in the heat all day, yeah, tiring...

I felt like I ought to do some art and use the time, and amid the "too hot, don't wanna", I did manage one more cut-paper artist card; I call this one "Summer Phoenix."



(So yeah, I think I'm just going to give in and fall a day behind on ManGo...)

I really like how you use negative space (is that the right term?) so well. It's something I've associated with you since you sent me some of your prints years ago from an art class. :)

Sorry I haven't been leaving comments -- I'm seeing everything, just not always sure what to say. Your art is lovely, but I worry that if I always just say that, it will seem insincere. ^^;
