I have fallen back into insufficient posting and insufficient Castlevania blathering, so here goes...
It occurred to me that, much as I love Symphony of the Night, the second half makes no sense. So, you don't want Dracula to be revived by Shaft, right? And he can't be just yet because his body parts are scattered through the inverted castle. So what do you-as-Alucard do? Collect all those bits together in one place! That much actually works, because if you didn't, then Shaft might do it instead and that would be bad. But once you've got them, all, then what do you do? You take them all to where Shaft is! How was that supposed to work? Wouldn't it be a lot smarter to, like, burn them, or toss them off the cliff into the body of water that's down there, or leave the castle, drop those off with Richter and Maria, and then if the castle was still there go back and deal with Shaft with those out of the picture?
I just can't figure out how it makes any sense. Except of course on the level of that being the task a video game presents you with and it's a fun game and stuff, which shouldn't be sold short after all, but I've saddled myself with trying to make more conventional sense of this crazy series, so... ^_^;;
