LAG stuff from yesterday...
May. 4th, 2011 07:32 pmMentioned these things in the big post, now I have pictures.
Here are the two Artist Cards I did; I had gotten the fireworks scrapbooking paper and cut it up, and I wanted to use it for backgrounds on these and try light paper linework with a dark background. It was a little harder to get the hang of (unlike the inked-black ones I did before, the design had to be drawn on the wrong side, which is how the second one got her kimono switched wrong---I inadvertently turned her into a ghost, oops!), but I was pretty pleased. The first is just abstract with a Bird of Paradise type of motif, and the second one is (the ghost of) a Japanese woman (well, I'd just seen the Bunraku the night before...)

And the tie-dye shirts. The first is a turtleneck, the second is just a plain T-shirt. I like how they both came out and especially like the t-shirt, although I can't help thinking that wearing it will make me look like the zebra from the old Fruit Stripe Gum commercials when I was a kid. Does anyone else even remember those...?
