Random strange fact about me

Despite being a very sharp kid generally, when they taught us to tie our shoes in elementary school, I never could get it. My parents helped me independently research a different, more comprehensible way to tie the same knot; to this day I tie my shoes that way and don't understand the "normal" method. I actually feel a vague sense of pride about this.
