Near and far, the moon and stars

Tonight I saw my dear sister in person what will be the last time for awhile. Maybe it just hasn't hit me yet, but I'm not as sad as I might have feared; I know we'll still be in touch. There were also good omens this evening; the fortune cookies at our favorite Asian restaurant had good things to say, we saw a star with a tail, and the moon was beautiful tonight...
