Reading, possible tweeting?
Feb. 28th, 2011 10:07 amI'm warming up to the idea of getting a twitter. I'm not sure what this means.
I wanted to read a book and thereby attack the ridiculous number of them lodged on my shelves for someday. I quickly decided that "Mike Nelson's Death Rat" was parochial and dull (it was purchased long ago, before that sliver of coming-of-age when you realize that buying novels by someone whose work you like in other media is a good recipe for unpleasant disillusionment), and found out that that old copy of "Mistress Masham's Repose" had a piece of a page missing, so I threw it away. (I do hate throwing books away, but if the text isn't intact...) For my third try, I've barely started on "The Great Gatsby."
