One-shot fairy tales
Aug. 29th, 2010 11:03 pmThanks to everyone who replied to wish me happy birthday!
In the continuing interest of posting something, I've been back to watching anime fansubs, and with y'all's help found manga scanlation sites again, and am here with links. I have to some extent favored one shots, which both of these are, but I thought I'd link them because I liked them both and they seem to be obscure:
Princess Arete: a movie of about two hours, fairly low-key and sweet, about a princess who thinks and does for herself. It gets rather depressing for awhile through the middle, but comes back for a very satisfying ending.
Island: a one-shot manga, again starring a clever girl who won't give in to despair, even when the terrible secret of her island home is revealed.
