Thank you! I did go back over that passage a few times and wanted to be sure and make it clear that she was smiling and teasing on that line. (He was more afraid that she thought he thought that.)
With those last few paragraphs, I didn't want to oversimplify the decision or leave the characters too platonically bodiless. It's a baby step, but I think this is the closest to writing porn that I've ever actually come...
