That other Allison & Lillia 'fic was something I could just have fun belting out, so here it is: "The Other Royal Children," wherein one character has a childhood trauma and another's backstory of Fridge Horror is unpacked, at FF.net and at Ao3. This one is much shorter, somewhat less spoilery, and less arcane (I think if you hadn't seen the series you could still mostly follow it).

Okay, now I'm done, really! ::Resisting urge to re-watch A&L for "fact-checking" purposes...::

PS: I was officially the first Allison & Lillia 'fic on Ao3; now I'm the first two. (And maybe the only two for some time...)

Oooh, shiny 'fic! Now I'm torn between reading it now, or waiting to see the series (which won't be happening for quite some time, alas).

Well, I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from reading them near-term... (I picked an obscure enough source this time, it's pretty much crickets.) If you plan on seeing A&L sometime, tho, I would recommend this one more than the other; "Setting Fractures" really will spoil the heck out of stuff, where this one isn't much that you wouldn't see coming after the second arc.
