Merry Christmas!

My parents and I already opened gifts. I got Mom the first two seasons of Scarecrow & Mrs. King on DVD, and Dad Ken Burns' Jazz on DVD, both of which they seemed to like.
For me, too, this was the Christmas of DVDs I'd been putting off buying forever. My parents got me Rurouni Kenshin Season 2 and Kiki's Delivery Service, and Jessie & Jo got me Babylon 5 Season 1 (squeeful stuff that, like I said, I'd been putting off forever; bad habit of mine). Jessie & Jo also got me a very cute Bento Box with a Maneki Neko on it, and Mom and Dad also got me Wandering Son vol. 1 (yay!), Andes Creme de Menthe chocolates and cookies (always loved the chocolates, cookies will be a new experience), and a Cinnamon Spice Cookie-scented candle.
Yuletide stories have also gone live, so I have two more presents from still-anonymous fanfic authors, both of them on the Natsume Yuujinchou prompt:

I totally need to go read those. I'm so messed up, I'm almost as nervous about that as I was about getting my own assignment... (No reflection on the gift-writers, who I'm tremendously grateful to already, I'm just neurotic.)
ETA: I got over it. If you like Natsume Yuujinchou, I highly recommend reading those, they're wonderful!! Thanks so much to my Secret Santa writer(s)!
