Heartstrong
Aug. 7th, 2011 10:53 pmI've really been neglecting the blog; I have some things to write about and have just been putting it off...
Last Tuesday we had a speaker at my church I made sure to see, Marc Adams of HeartStrong. I just happened to have encountered his books not long beforehand, and his organization does outreach to LGBT youth enrolled in religious schools, and offers materials for school counselors more generally. He was a great speaker, inspiring and funny. Afterward I got together with a lady I've been getting to know at church, and I'd been needing something like that, so it was good...
Friday and Saturday I had a Bleach binge on MangaFox (one of those "I need to either stop doing this or get some self-control" kind of things).
(Also need to talk about the anime I finished and a story-idea game, but I'll put those ones off a bit longer...)
