Gotta post something...

I realize it's been too long. I've been feeling strangely unsettled lately, and I don't really know why...

I finished my re-play of Aria of Sorrow last week (on Friday the 13th, in fact) and have started on Dawn. I'm having some issues with the infamous "Magic Seal" mechanic, but I don't think it's insurmountable, and what's really slowing me down is the apparent fact that I would rather soul farm for ages than actually progress; I'm so over-levelled it's not even funny, but what the heck*. As I noted long ago, having watched a playthrough, the story is uncommonly silly (I still think Aria snatched awesome out of the jaws of cheesy, and Dawn didn't flirt with that borderline quite so well), but I'm still enjoying it. (I'm also noting that the titles of these two are nonsensical even as CV games go; less sorrowful than average, really.)

Last weekend I also went to see the new Jane Eyre movie; it might have been too long since I read the book, but it was in "good but not great" territory, I thought.

And I did another one of those paintings to cut up into Artist Cards. ( cut for pic and a final aside )
