Week from hell

The relevant thing is that yeah, it seems I did have a virus, and now my computer is pretty much dead. I'm signing on from Mom's, so I can stay in contact, but not as much as usual, and I'm all stressing out about what to do next.

Yesterday I also had the car engine die while I was driving it, scared the heck out of me, so I'm staying home today until we can get it checked out.

And all of this comes just as my anxiety symptoms were flaring up. Joy.

Oh, no! That's really a lot to have to handle at once. I'm sorry, and I hope your string of ill luck improves soon!

Thank you. I'm trying to come up with some balance of "figure out what to do about the computer" and "go easy on myself" and currently leaning toward the latter (although it's tough because at this point I'm THE halfway-techie in the house, so nobody really CAN figure out what to do about the computer except me...).

I hope things turn around soon and both the car and computer problems turn out to be fairly easy to solve. I hate it when life decides that one problem isn't enough and sends more problems to keep it company.

Thanks. We're taking the computer in for repairs tomorrow, so hopefully that'll take care of it.
